Dr Joseph Thomas joined the department as senior consultant in CTVS on May 15.Dr Joseph did his M Ch(CTVS) from government medical College Kottayam, after which he continued working in his alma mater.Following his stint in the government sector he worked at KIMSHEALTH Thiruvananthapuram .His areas of interest include adult cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery including esophageal resections, peripheral vascular surgery,ECMO and endovascular procedures
