The Audio Visual (AV) Department is created here with the objective of providing centralised services to the departments,   in the field of Photography, Video coverage and Audio Systems. The department is well-equipped with sophisticated machinery which are handled by trained and competent men.

The department is located in the Medical College building and archives all the important events and activities of the hospital  and its constituent institutions,  including the rare medical procedures conducted in the hospitals,  which are important for teaching.

Roles and Responsibility

The major role of the department is to provide photo coverage,  video coverage and audio systems to all the events at hospital   and associate institutions.

The Electrical Department provides a wide range of services and supports a variety of end users; providing 24*7 support. Services offered include,  but are not limited to,  the operation and maintenance of air conditioning,  electrical works as well as fire safety . It works closely with other departments within the hospital  

Scope of services:

• Operation and maintenance of Generators,  UPS,  Oxygenplants,  Airconditioners,  Watercoolers
• Facility alteration,  renovation/ upgrading and new works.

Along with regular departmental staff; Engineering Services Department is duly supported by outsourced staff to provide and maintain the services.

The IT Department provides a wide range of services and supports a variety of end users;

• Operation and maintenance of all computer and computer accessories
• Installation and support to Hospital Information System
• Guidance to use integrated systems and other application softwares.
• Taking care of the security of systems and data

Taking classes on computer fundamentals, application softwares to various courses conducted in the organisation

The Maintenance Department provides a wide range of services and supports a variety of end users;   Services offered include,  but are not limited to,  the operation and maintenance  of buildings/ facilities,  repair works,  plumping works  as well as landscaping. It works closely with departments within the  and with other institutions related to the hospitals and its out reach clinics.

• Maintenance of building structures and facilities 
• Civil Engineering  support to Hospital Administration
